Aunty Courtney :)

Our trip to AZ this month was great on so many levels. We were there to see my baby brother Jade Graduate, we got to meet my sister's baby Wes, we got to see all of our AZ family, and my sister from Oregon was there at the same time!!! We LOVE Aunty Courtney!!! We hadn't seen her in almost a year....so this was a BIG treat!

One of the days we were in AZ...we went and got pedicures with Aunty Courtney! She always has the best ideas for having fun! Kiera and Kate weren't able to make it. But there will definitely be a "next time"! :)

Courtney is the BEST Aunt to all of her nieces and nephews! And the kids just adore her!

She just loves to get on the floor or in the pool and play all day with them. It's the cutest thing! She's gonna be the BEST mom someday!

Brett takes a little more time to warm up.....but at the end of the week, even he couldn't resist playing with the funnest Aunt ON THE PLANET!!!! Love you so much Courtney! Thanks for loving my kids the way that you do....you're amazing :)

Save the Best for Last!

So happy for my baby brother Jade. He graduated today and we are all so so so SO proud of him. He has had every obstacle possible but he has fought and earned this great day!

The kids and I flew down from Colorado and my sister Courtney flew down from Oregon! It was so great to be all together. Can't wait until Landon gets home from his mission :)

Our 1st Preschool Graduation

Today was Taryn's preschool graduation! The graduation was outside and when we got there, these cute posters where hanging on the garage.

Silly Kids

We are finally getting our Spring showers....way late in the season...but we'll take 'em! And who doesn't love umbrella's? I remember playing with umbrella's when I was little. Apparently, my kiddos aren't any different! This is Brett's new "say cheese" face. (ha ha ha) Look at those squinty eyes....(ha ha ha) So funny! (Taryn 5 yrs Brett 3 yrs)

Mommy's Little Helpers

It's so nice to have little helpers now! (instead of rotten leprechauns running around like crazy ;) ha ha ha. Brett LOVES to help me in the kitchen. If I'm at the stove, he is pushing a chair over to help me cook. (Brett 3 years)



And Taryn likes to help me clean around the house (thank heavens!). She's a pro at cleaning mirrors and sliding glass doors. She also helps me with sorting laundry and she has just picked up sweeping. I'm totally loving it. I appreciate ANY help. (Taryn 5 years)

Happy Mother's Day!

My Mother's Day weekend started with Taryn bringing this adorable potted flower home from Preschool for me. I love it! Her little thumbprints are what the ladybugs are made out of. So stinkin cute! She had the biggest smile and was so proud when she gave it to me. :)

Sunday morning we had a yummy breakfast and then we opened some gifts. Taryn wrapped up her baby Dumbo she got from Disneyland, for me for Mother's Day.



John and the kids gave me some green eye shadow, a new water bottle, and a exercise kit that had a stretch band and resistance bands in it. I had been eyeing it. It was great!
After gifts we went to church, came home, had a yummy dinner, then I went on a walk (all alone). I found a nice grassy hill to sit on, with a view of the mountains, and then I watched the sun set. It was AMAZING. I had like 3 or 4 hours all to myself. Happy Mother's day to ME!!! ha ha ha When I got home we called our mothers and expressed our love. It was a great day!
